We Are Now Approaching Nirvana
Jan. 22nd, 2006 07:23 pmI made dinner tonight, and it was a religious experience. :D
+ Ale and sausages. (Lesson not learned: use real fresh sausages because they soak up more beer and not the kind from the grocery store, and go easy on the butter next time because it BURNS and STICKS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN.)
+ Fried potatoes. (Okay, so m0mmy did this. This is what passes for really decadent at our house because we never have potatoes and biscuits.)
+ Rye biscuits. (The recipe says caraway seeds, but poppy seeds work fine too.)
+ Sauerkraut. (Nothing brings one joy like fermented cabbage. :D)
Yeah. We'll have to be doing that again sometime.
