duokinneas, was born. Unlike the E-Z Bake Oven, which I also received for Christmas when I was 8, Talyn has stood the test of time and is a lot more fun to play with. I am not sure how she got to be this old and think someone is just trying to fuck with me, though.
Now that I've said some words on this subject, here are the rainbow hearts, which pink seahorses everywhere have been eagerly awaiting.

I have had zero trouble getting into LJ. I probably wouldn't know there were outages if I hadn't heard people twittering and facebooking and the like about them.
I don't have any intention of leaving. I've been here nearly 9 years. I am told that I'm hurting fandom's feelings by not moving. Frankly, I don't care, because while I enjoy my personal fandoms I also have a job and other things to worry about besides ZOMG SOMEONE GOT BANNED FOR HARRY POTTER SLASHFIC.
However: in the event that the site goes down and never comes back up, there are other ways to get ahold of me. Some of you haven't known me that long, so I won't be emotionally devastated if you'd rather not keep in touch, but there's a list of places I am here. Feel free to stalk as you will. :D

Apr. 23rd, 2011 03:00 pmWe had a Severe Thunderstorm that resulted in a limb falling off the Undead Zombie Tree, JUST MISSING the house and taking out the Internets. So I've been gone. The Internets were fixed about an hour ago. X-chan is here so I will catch up LATER. Nothing exciting happened here.

+ The Mystery of the Missing Cell Phone is solved - I left it in the break room, and the cleaning lady found it and is turning it in to the security office.
+ Potluck at work tomorrow.
+ I don't have to go anywhere this weekend.
+ I've cooked enough leftovers to avoid cooking for a while.

A Public Service Announcement

I worked 2-10 today at work, most of it at the paystation, ergo mostly on my feet in thin-soled shoes. I conveniently don't have any arches in my feet so didn't feel it as much as some people would.
I am working 6:30-2:30 tomorrow, on Thanksgiving Day, which is The Holiday You Don't Fuck With. Seriously, there are like two holidays I give a shit about, and Thanksgiving is one of them. Notice that, while my scheduled hours are legally within the limits of the law, they do not allow me to get a full night's sleep. Also, I have to do laundry, which pretty much ensures that I won't get a full night's sleep.
I will then be working 4:45 to 2 on Friday.
Did I mention that I already hate my job to begin with?
Annoy me in any way, fuck with me in any way, or make any kind of request, no matter how reasonable you feel it is, and I will personally choke the shit out of you. With both hands. Whilst screaming obscenities in your face. I already have a short temper. The Least Wonderful Time Of The Year reduces it to hair-trigger. Oh, and when I get like this, I'm pretty much looking for an excuse. Don't push your luck. You are not safe.
The absolute earliest it might be safe to bother me is Sunday, but I make no promises. :D
