So, like, stuff.

1.) Hey, kids! Name the Indiana county whose courthouse ISN'T a polling place on 8 May! Yeah, I can't do it either, which means I basically have a four-day weekend (I took off Friday to go to Bloomington). I don't know how much I'll enjoy it, since 8 May is also Confirmation and m0mmy is stage-managing it again.

2.) ALL MUST GAZE UPON MY UKELETTE AND DESPAIR. My ukelette is better-looking than yours. And smarter, too.

3.) A very happy, if very belated, birthday to ebony_queen, who hopefully enjoyed cake and swag.

Yeah. Not much to report here, but I am, for the time being, content.

The prom is just another strange American thingamagig, invention, with the themed dance and the lush dinner and the big, expensive, pretty dresses and the corsages and the limos and the millions of girls going "Uh oh ..." a couple of months later and the prom queen and the prom king and the crowns and the first dance and the throne, and whatever else you crazy people think up.

Of course, we do have some kind of graduation party in Denmark as well, but nothing nearly as grand. And I didn't go then either, and I'd stay home from my prom, too, had I had one. ^_^

However, I will agree that your uke is pretty. That hardly seems fair. I want to be pretty like that. ;_; I've got the blond hair, what else do I need?!

I didn't go, because I didn't see the point in enduring the dance only for the sake of 15 minutes' worth of action, which would likely have been interrupted by my marauding father demanding that I quit running the motor, it wastes gas, and you get in here RIGHT NOW, Lee, and OMGWTF!
