Yeah, that makes sense; to me, violence means there's a certain, possibly excessive, amount of blood and missing limbs, as opposed to slashing and hacking but a lack of description about the sprays of bodily fluids and appendages. Or a lack of detail, I should say. It's the gore that accompanies violence that gets me and sends me away from all but the best books.
Good! 'Cause I have no moral objections, either, and I like comment conversations. The only person I've been able to have these with recently has been momo, and that's a lot of dorky one-liners and name-calling. Which is fine, but I like to get typing exercise. It helps me pretend I'm burning calories here at the computer.
