One of my best friends met her husband by chance from teh internets. She's from my hometown (SF) and he's from Holland!!! Now they are living HAPPILY EVAR AFTAR here.
So while the thing with H may or may not pan out, it's not impossible. I hope you get what you want, whatever it may be. :)
