Anything with diacritical marks must be delicious, just because it's so hard to type! Also, if the rest of the recipes in your cookbooks are like pancakes and B&J ice cream (which I also just had, mmm, maple ice cream with blondies) and crepes and cakes with coconut and baked alaska and so on, they must be a powerful force for yum in the galaxy.
I am not sure what a Danish fondant is; here in the States, it is like a pliable sugar paste that we use to cover cakes and create a smooth surface for icing when we're decorating them, but it may have a different meaning for you.
