sailorsaturn, I finally got my mojo working and got you something off the Amazon registry. Hopefully it will ship in the next week, and hopefully also arrive at sphexi's in the next week. Let me know if he doesn't get it? (Also: my full name isn't Lee, which you probably knew, so the invoice will be all Cryptic and stuff. ^_-)

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET ANYTHING DONE THIS MORNING, other than the above-mentioned getting-Nancy-stuff-off-the-Amazon-registry. The phone's been ringing off the hook, and of course only two of the calls were of actual importance (the rest appeared to be telemarketers). And THEN the doorbell rang, TWICE in HALF AN HOUR, with TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF PEOPLE giving me flyers for the SAME CHURCH. I held my tongue and didn't mention that I'm RC and quite happy with that, nor did I mention that I'm actually trying to get things done in the den and constantly getting the door is extremely disruptive.

I think this is a sign from God that I'm supposed to get off my duff and go clean my car out now.

This is my formal comment to tell you that A) I am back, and B) as I always, always chatter at you, I love yooooouuu! **dies**

I remember cleaning out my car before I took it in, hoping to get my tires replaced. When that didn't happen, all I had left to my name was that at least the mechanics who looked inside it didn't see a heap of my papers, including bottles of Fuze and SoBe long discarded, in the backseat. Otherwise, no benefits. I don't care if my car is über messy.

I cleaned TWO WHOLE GARBAGE BAGS FULL OF CRAP out of my car. (It's Sunday, so I can cuss. You get a reprieve from Lent on Sundays. Not many non-Catholics know that.) I am badly frightened of me now.

Whoa. Holy crap - make that holy shit! I cleaned out two regular-sized plastic grocery sacks, one of which was my garbage bag from inside the car. How much time do you average in your car, Lee, and are you planning on turning it into a second home? O_o Because wow.

I didn't know you could have a reprieve on Sundays! I thought it was a complete forty days and forty nights, which would be hellish. This goes to show you that textbook education on the different religions of the world is not helpful in understanding the real practices of, say, Catholics.

Well, I'm in my car pretty much seven days a week. I load it up on Monday morning and drive to and from the courthouse every day, and then I drive home on Friday evening. So yeah, there's plenty of opportunities for junk to accrue. O_O

Well, Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest. ^_-

Well, shit. This goes to show that there will probably be a massive explosion of emotions over on my LJ, involving I know not what. For the first time, I'm fearing clicking on the "new mail alert" link in my Yahoo! toolbar, and for no logical reason.

I repeat, holy shit. That's kind of sick, and it's more than overkill. Didn't you say you were looking for another job that doesn't call for you to be doing this much travel? I can't remember if you did, and if so, when that was.

Psh. Sunday is never my day of rest; I always have to do everything on Sunday that I put off the week before! **gets run over**

Oh, but there is a logical reason for it, and if I may take a stab, it is that you think I'm going to flash on my Angry emotion and yell at you. I'm not angry, and I don't intend to yell at you (although I'm aware that some of the things I say may be read as yelling).

I'm not looking yet--I'm going to wait another six months, and then I'm going to start looking in earnest. Probably what I'm going to try to do is get back into the mortgage title racket, because the travel is extremely minimal and it isn't as tiring. However, I'd like to have been at my current job at least a year before I quit.

Yeah, me too, but it's a noble idea. ^_-

That's not a very logical reason, though, and I argue that because it's you, not some random stranger who might lash out at me. I shouldn't feel like you're going to yell at me and be angry all the time, regardless of whatever you may say to me when you comment to that post.

Ahhh, okay! I think you're nuts for wanting to last out a year, although I see the reasoning behind it and realize that you're sound of mind most of the time. Anything that forced me to travel that much - well, I doubt I'd consider it. **pantomimes slitting her throat**

It's very sad in retrospect how time flies but yes it has been that long.

Hubby decided to delete his LJ account as of yesterday because he said he doesn't use it anymore (he has long since moved into FB). Other than Molly, Maryn will be 4 years old this October.

Been long since been back to work after my maternity leave ended with the second child and have been working between 2 hospitals.

So how's you? =)

One of my former co-workers is now my new co-worker at my new workplace. We've known each other for 10 years. I refuse to believe either of us is that old. XD

Well, if he doesn't use it, no sense in keeping it! So Molly has a sister now...gosh, how time flies.

I'm still rotting in southern Indiana and hating Evansville for not being Bloomington, but I have a good job (for now; working for the title insurance department of a large bank) and so I'm paying off my debts and trying to save some money in the hope of fleeing in a couple-three years. (Um, I kind of want to go back to school.) Things have been looking up over the past few months (after years in The Pit), so hopefully this trend will continue :D
