After the inaugural post, I have come to the conclusion that my flist is composed predominantly of weirdoes. Then again, I should probably quit looking at my flist for a bright and shining example of normalcy.

The way I feel after manual labor. I am not in love with the actual act of lifting boxes or moving furniture or any of those manly things I'm so good at, but I feel strong and self-righteous after I've managed it. If you need help moving, I'm your man.

And on that merry note, it's bedtime.

My car fixing is limited to the basic stuff, like changing oil and windscreen wipers *g* But I've always wanted to do one of those "service your own car" courses.

That would be way fun.

It would also be a bit like attaching a glowing neon sign to my back that said OMG MANLY DYKE *g*

Well, here they're always doing "service your own car FOR WOMEN!!!11!!" which would be girliegirls, instead of manly dykes. Unfortunately, it would also be taught for people who are scared to check their oil in case they break a nail.

Or the kind of girls who show up in cute overalls, figuring that there might be a cute instructor, and then find that the instructor is a manly!dyke. ;)

Which to me would still be cute, albeit nobody I want to date.

Yeah, I'd be more likely to become great chums with her than want to date her. Largely because grease under the fingernails is a big turnoff to me in either gender :)

Or you could just clean under your nails :p

I will have you know that my nails are TEH FLAWLESS, and will post photographic proof as soon as I a.) learn how to spell "photographic" properly and b.) get off my duff. ;)

My great-aunt, whom we think was a dyke, was a nurse during and after WWII and used to tell her students that the dirtiest part of your body is under your fingernails. I believe her.

Oh yeah, I'd believe that too. Because no matter how fastidious most people are about hand washing, we tend only to use a nailbrush when we've been digging in the garden or something.

...and we can't actually use a nail brush at all atm because the puppy found ours and made it into one of his favourite toys *g*

I don't think I even own a nail brush. I probably ought, but being me and therefore lazy, I don't seem able to be arsed over it. *g*

Dear God, what is he doing with it? Chewing on it, batting it around? ;)

I don't often stick my hands in dirt, so therefore I tend not to worry too much about such things.

Both *g* I can't see why it's fun to chew when it's all bristley, but go figure!
