So the loan came through and the car is insured, which makes me feel much better, though not as much better as I'll feel when I actually have the card and the policy in my hot little hands.

So I got another job and I gave my notice at work and the big boss gave me a counter-offer and I said no dice because what I'm ultimately planning to do is be self-employed and contract work for this company out of Wabash County is as good a start as any I will ever know. And if it tanks, well, I'm young and don't have that many obligations and it's not irreparable. And my last day will be my birthday, which is appropriate.

So I'm going to this wedding in Indy on Sunday and if anybody wants to hang out it would be good if they said something now so we can make plans. (Sorry, A! I will RSVP properly when I check my e-mail.)

So. Not much to say here. How is everyone else?

*stifles a giggle at the sight of her ukelette doing a sock-footed desk-chair dance* I didn't hate the job that much, fluffkin--it was nothing like Wal-Mart or CMC. I just felt very taken for granted and very dissatisfied, so hopefully being an independent (which in the long run is what I'm wanting to do) will be a step in the right direction.

And I'm very proud of your restraint, dearest. ^_-

When you feel taken for granted and dissatisfied, that's feeling like an underprivileged and abused worker, and that's hate! (My semi-syllogisms don't make sense, but at the moment, I'm a little bit worn out and I don't care much.) As am I, although it's scary, as there's a lot that wasn't an issue before and has now become one. ^^6 Still, I'll manage. I have no choice: I want to do this, because my father never had the balls, and I want to do it well and be successful at it, and I want to rub it in his face if we ever see each other again.
