Lost Seahorse: Please Help

I am missing my seahorse. She is a smallish fluffy, pink, glittery creature who answers to the name Talyn, as well as princess, sweetheart, and sundry others. Her principal activities consist, among other things, of swimming in the sea and leaving sparkly bubbles in her wake, floating around the Internet looking for well-written fanfiction, and distributing hearts of l0ff.

I have been mean to her lately, which is probably what drove her off, but I love her a really whole lot because she is my little sunbeam, and want her to come back. Nothing else is right when we've been arguing like this, and I don't like feeling distanced from her.

I have huggles and treats for her if she comes home, and also a promise to keep my goddamned mouth shut and be more considerate of her feelers. (Unlike most seahorses, she has a pair of extremely sensitive antennae, which perk at the slightest stimuli.)

I will also give cake for her safe return.

I already expressed most of my important feelings in a reply to your comment in my journal. I don't know what to say but that I'm very touched and I love you very much...but whatever happens, don't give up any part of yourself for our friendship if it's not going to be worth dealing with weird marine life.

For my part, I will try to rubberband my antennae into not being so prone to moving at the slightest provocation. And I'm going to try not to provoke you or pry at your shell with a jaggedy stick.

Please don't pry at my shell with a jaggedy stick*. I would hate to have to chase you across the ocean floor, snapping at your curly seahorse tail. As amusing as the mental image is, we've had enough of that in the past six months.

*scoops up her nyaoing ukelette and squeezes her tightly, not letting go* I love you more than anything. I know sometimes it's hard for you to believe that, because I can't always express it in a way that looks like love to you. But I do love you, and I will do my best to prove it. ♥
