I am pretty sure that the earthquake did not hit Tokyo, but please, God, let H be okay. I wish I could tell You that if he is, I will be The Best Catholic Ever (tm), but I would be lying because I am human and fallible and maculate and three days later I will decide that holiness is too much trouble and immediately give way to my desire to say bad words, flip truckers off if they're tailgating me, and partake of lusts not altogether approved by Ben Sixteen.

However, as You know, I do give a shit what happens to H, and would really appreciate it if he were okay. I am pretty sure that he is, but I enjoy reassurance nonetheless.

No, but I think it's likely that he wasn't seriously affected, since the quake hit some northern islands and not Tokyo or environs. One of my friends also has friends in Japan, and one of them (who also lives in Tokyo) checked in to say that she was fine--she didn't know anything had happened until she heard the news. So I'm guessing that I haven't heard from H in a couple of days because
a.) Real Life (tm)
and
b.) he's formulating an answer to my Big Large McHuge e-mail. (We don't write any other kind, really.)

Still, it's in my nature to worry. And I just read your entry about Fun With Eyesight, so now I will worry about you too. ♥
