Perhaps it would be totally bitchin' if you were to research some other tribal island society for t3h n0v3l omg, or if you were to read some nice soothing studies on acculturation instead. When you are dreaming about the Maori all night every night, there is a serious problem.

Everyone would appreciate it if you stopped.

Also, there will be no "research trip" to New Zealand, even if actual research is conducted there. You have a living to earn.

Now get up off your duff and go make dinner.

I guess you can argue that I did. =P I didn't write stories, I just dreamt about it at night. I did, however, have a notebook wherein I plotted down plans for various adventures and drew pictures and I even made a list of the qualities my Wendy was in possession of. I think my main story-plan was about Wendy being turned into a dangerous creature and then Peter had to go through three terrible ordeals to save her, OMG.

I ought to dig up that ol' notebook and cringe at its contents.

I destroyed all the drafts of my Sues, though I kept a few really good pages I wanted to save. I still feel it was one of the best things I ever did for myself.

Also, at least you didn't put up your notebook on FF.net, and for that, Cat MoonShadow, WE SALUTE YOU.
