Because I spent last night searching for fetish fuel on the Int0rbuttz, and it's my journal so I won't shut up about it, I found this and thought I'd share it because it made me giggle. Most pertinently, I would call your attention to the caption (scroll down).

DAMN RIGHT that is not Dennis Quaid. I have never ovulated all over the place after looking at Dennis Quaid. In fact, unlike Dennis Quaid, I could look at that all damn day.

I love that Rashomon link. **cackles** I showed it to my roommate and she was like, "They can do that?" and I said that yes, they could, but they shouldn't because anything created by Kurosawa is automatically so amazing that we should seek to emulate it rather than emulating rubbishy current horror films. However, drawing that many comparisons is pretty, uhh... I got distracted by the photo at that point.

I shall now go about my business. Move along, move along. ^_^

Anything by Kurosawa should have a sticker on the DVD case saying, "THIS IS PERFECT. DON'T FUCK WITH IT." I'm not sure that it is possible to adequately emulate Kurosawa, but I think being inspired by him is definitely par for the course.

That is an extremely distracting photo, and if I look at it too much I have to have a cold shower and go lie down for a bit. And tonight I saw Yojimbo which has a scene where Toshiro Mifune's kimono gets a bit mussed and I was a little bit distracted because he kept thrashing about and I couldn't get as good a look at his chest as I would have liked. (No complaints about what I could see, though.)

And then I thought about Rashomon, in which he first appears shirtless and bound, and that gave me all-new filthy thoughts.
