Date: 2011-07-09 05:18 pm (UTC)I've been reading Jasper Fforde's "First Among Sequels", one of his later BookWorld novels, and just got to the part with the out-of-book but in-character P&P folks. Lady Catherine De Burgh is fabulous as always :-)

Date: 2011-07-10 11:13 pm (UTC)I dunno, my father's wife would certainly think me condescending. Then again, we're talking about a woman who would be the Sears Tower of Stupid if stupidity were measured in architecture.
I've had those experiences. I'm used to being stared at, though, so I just go on my merry way. :D
