Dried fruit is a sweet, tasty, and moderately healthy alternative to the sweets I can't have during Lent. I love dried fruit.
I do not, however, love the side effects, and think I had better figure out some way to moderate my dried-fruit intake.

Date: 2006-03-21 05:04 am (UTC)If all else fails, eat dried fruit with cereal and milk (or soy if you're lactose-intolerant). You'll still get the sweetness without mentioned side effects.
