An Open Letter to the Cat
Jul. 3rd, 2006 07:50 pmQUIT FUCKING PEEING ON THINGS.
Seriously. You knew damn well that you were in trouble when you saw me coming, and I know you did that to get my attention, and you know you're not supposed to be peeing on things, and for a while I thought we had that problem licked. Surely you don't think I like laying down a fresh batch of cat repellent on everything every day.
I don't want to shut you in the old cage we had for X-chan's cat during the daytime, but at this point I'm so damn frustrated that I have no idea what else to do. I'm not going to take you back to the pound, because I think this is a stupid reason to abandon a pet, but this cannot continue. We've already established that there's nothing physically wrong with you, so this is entirely something you can control.
I've already had to close off the guest room, my room, and the upstairs bathroom, and you're no longer allowed on the porch without supervision. There's a limit to the number of rooms that I can close off. There's also a limit to my patience.
I am so frustrated and so sorely tempted to put you in the cat carrier when I leave tonight, and I might just do it too.
