Scone time! Scone time for LJ! Scone truck, scone truck! Scone truck is here! Fun as hell scones, you guys! (And yes, ass o'clock in the morning is scone time here.) Everybody get a scone! Or two! Or three! Scone truck!

:D

(To answer the obvious question: No. This post serves no purpose other than announcing that I have just made some scones.)

More inanity to follow.

Makes me hungry for what we used to call scones (but totally aren't scones) which were made with Rhodes frozen white bread rolls that were thawed and then kind of pulled into flat rounds, then deep-fried, then slathered with butter and drizzled with honey.. YUM.

That does sound good, and is possibly the best use for Rhodes frozen bread dough EVAR. (We were distinctly unimpressed with the bread dough and found it to be subpar as bread, but I'm a spoiled little toad whose mother made bread from scratch when I was growing up, so.)

Our scones have dried cherries and almonds, also powdered-sugar glaze; it's a little more desserty than our usual sconeyfare. :D

Plz to be sending some of these alleged scones for further inspection.

Inspection? I have consumed several with no ill effects and assure you that they are quite safe for human consumption.

If you wish to perform chemical analysis, scones are made predominantly of carbohydrates and DELICIOUS. Unfortunately, they do not travel well. :(
