1.) dethorats! Your package came yesterday and is full of awesome and win! :D I have the samurai figurine sitting on my desk at work (the USPS may have dropped him, despite your best efforts; I may need to glue his kuwagata back on). Also, whilst I have barely had time to scan the Journal of Asian Studies you sent me, ARE YOU IN IT OMG?!

2.) I did something stupid and bought xi-feng.org (no link because it's not configured yet). Or rather, I bought it back, because I used to own it and then for a while in there I didn't, and now it's mine again. MINE MINE MINE. I believe my XFO address was my default for quite a long time, so I may get residual e-mail from it, which will be interesting 8D

Oh yes, xi-feng.org - those were the days. :-) Sometimes I still think about buying my own domain, but I still haven't thought of what to use it for, and so far Wordpress works well enough for my needs (I have a food critic blog).

What do you plan to do with it now? ANY ROLEPLAYING IN THE FUTURE? Man, it's been ages since I last wrote anything, come to think of it. Don't think I've actually written anything since TI closed.

Everything old is new again! If Wordpress works for you and does what you want it to do, then I think it's worth hanging out there; my thing with the domain is that I want more control and I want to craft and create it, and I also don't want any stupid ads on my webspace. Which is the problem with a lot of free hosts (back in the days when there WERE a lot of free hosts).

I've been thinking about starting a food-and-cooking blog, but I don't really have a niche market, so I doubt it'll ever be popular :D

I am probably going to stick up a visitors' center and a personal site, for starters. THERE WILL BE SOME ROLEPLAYING IN THE FUTURE! I am looking at a revamp of TI (no major changes to everything we knew and loved, but a little tightening here and there), and the project that I like to call Samurai Halfassin'. (The real name will probably be a lot better.)

I remember Samurai Halfassin'. That's the one to which you've approved my blonde samurai fangirl who speaks japanimation Japanese and who travels back in time. I remember well the conversation in which this was approved.

I also remember well this conversation, but I seem to recall that it didn't exactly end in approval (I would need to see a character app to make that decision). You may, however, feel free to submit this character on days when I clearly need a laugh ;)
