Feeling Better Now

I still want to sleep a really whole lot, though. We had carrot soup for dinner, which I had been going to make, but I still didn't feel up to cooking, so m0mmy fixed it for me after I got the recipe out for her.
A lot of reading and thinking this weekend. I polished off Neil Gershenfeld's Fab, which is a totally r0x0ring book about personal fabrication technology and what you, yes YOU, can do with it, and Iris Chang's The Chinese in America, which I totally read for researching-my-beloved-RP-character purposes.
The actual thinking: religious wangst, political wangst, and other stuff that if I want to talk about, I'll post filtered. Or elsewhere.

Date: 2006-02-14 03:07 am (UTC)HEATHEN! Go, GO I say, to the corner grocery, obtain for yourself some parsnips, wash and peel them, and then slice them up and fry them in olive oil. They sound nasty, but they're actually quite good; raw parsnips don't taste like much of anything, but the chips have a not-unpleasant sweetish taste. ♥

Date: 2006-02-14 06:08 am (UTC)Hm, I'm not a huge fan of parsnip, so I'm not sure how much I'd like it - probably tastes a bit like roast parsnip which is okay, but not good enough for me to run out and try the chips *g*
